Boys Soccer – would like to nominate the tandem of Takeshin Inayoshi and Deion Rogers. This year Tak and Deion combined to score 33 goals and have 17 assists. The 33 goals is the most a pair of Greyhounds have combined to score in the past 16 years. Both players were selected to the CAAC White All League 1st team and both players were voted All District. We played a number of top teams and there was not a more dangerous pair of attacking players then Tak and Deion.
Volleyball – Brooke Franco had a very good month, she was voted by tournament coaches as the MVP of the Springport Tournament, helped the team win the Leslie Tournament, and remained at the top of the LSJ stat leaders for digging. She finished October with an average of 6.1 digs per set and 534 digs on the season and 44 serving aces
Men’s Cross Country – Ben Gleeson – Ben finished the season as the top male runner for the Greyhounds. He finished as the first Greyhound in every meet this year. He achieved all-league honors and was a qualifier for the state championship. His fine effort at states helped earn him Academic All-State honors.
Women’s Cross Country – Maddie Orler- Maddie finished first for the Greyhounds in every race this year. She earned all-league status for the second year in a row. She served as a two-year co-captain of our team. Maddie was a leader by example during the season. She is a fine person/scholar/athlete.
