The Eaton Rapids Men’s Swimming and diving Program kicked off the season in a spectacular way competing in the Cereal Bowl Relays. This relay event is the oldest continually running relay event in the united states and has had over 30 teams win this event and go on to win the State swimming event. Highlights for Eaton Rapids team included Luke Lathup and Kaiden Daugherty finishing 5th in the Diving. The Backstroke Relay team of Lathrup, Kieth Morgan, Chris Letarte and Jordan Hawkids finished 9th. The 800 freestyle Relay team of Caleb Johnson, nick Stoner, Chris Letarte and Jordan Hawkins finished 10th. Other top finishing relays included the 400 free relay team of Calvin and Alden Ehrhardt, Caleb Hill and Quinton Henderson. The 500 river relay team of John Cooper, Nick Stoner, Caleb Johnson, Jordan Hawkins and Cullen Henderson finished 11th as did the 200 breaststroke relay team of Tim Renney, Quinton Henderson, Matthew O’Daniel and Cullen Henderson. The 200 Medley Relay team of Morgan, O’Daniel, Smith and C.Letarte finished 12th. The Men travel to Charlotte on December 12th to kick of their Conference meet schedule.
